About This Treatment

A chemical peel uses an acid solution applied to the skin to remove the outer layers that may be damaged or suffering from the signs of sun damage and environmental exposure. The ‘peel’ removes layers of dead skin, revealing new layers of rejuvenated, smoother, fresher skin with improved texture, tone and colour.

• Consultation - Upon arrival at the clinic you will have a facial skin analysis to determine the best peel to suit your skin – around 10 minutes.
• Treatment time – around 30 minutes.
• Price – dependent on the strength of the peel from £55 - £120.

How long will it last? – Dependent on the depth of the peel, as assessed by your skin clinician, a light peel will last between 4 and 5 weeks, a deeper peel may last up to one year.

Is there downtime? – Your skin may appear red and shiny after your treatment. It is recommended that you do not apply make up for at least 24 hours after your treatment and a gentle SPF is highly recommended because your skin will be extremely sensitive to UV rays.
